Thanksgiving
I am SO thankful for all that I have. I have two kids in school now I feel like my life is run by a constant schedule. Breakfast, bus, school, lunch, school, laundry dishes, kids back from school, homework,.. You get the idea. I haven't had a lot of time for decorating. And the fact that I am 8 months pregnant makes it hard to do much of anything.
This Grateful picture is an idea from my sister in law check out her blog catherinascreativecorner.blogspot.com. You type or write up all the things you are grateful for and then frame it. Perfect for thanksgiving.
I love the paper wreath I saw on pinterest and just had to make one. I didn't have a Thanksgiving banner either so I made one from paper and stencils from the dollar store. The wreath is simple! I just cut our paper leave and folded them in half to form a crease then hot glued them to a cardboard wreath circle I cut from a box.
I used this wreath from www.toastandlaurel.com as an example. She made this huge wreath and I love it.

I made this box from some old barn wood and painted it white added some lovely white pumpkins and burlap.

ReplyDeleteThe "grateful" frame would be fun with a wordle in the background. Type up the grateful list, then enter it into a wordle. Use a screen shot or simply print it as is for the background!
