how to make stripe beadboards

Hello friends! I finally had time to do a post. Only because it is cold and windy outside. Otherwise I would be outside planting my garden, which is really late.
So now I have time to be on the computer.
I took some beadboard from my dad he was going to throw away! Really Dad!! Throw this away what were you thinking?? So I snarfed them up.

I cut them in 1 foot by 1 foot pieces. I used the back and placed painters tape in rows and then painted the uncovered stripes.

Here are the three I did first with the tape removed and before being sanded.
Here it is up on my shelf with a cute little star
You can put a frame on it like this.
This is on my front entry table with a berry wreath and star..

I made about 6 of these in Cream, Green, and Grey. I thought it would be cute to put your child initials on them too. They are so easy!!

    1. Chantelle, I'm not a "stripey person", I like them, I just don't have a lot around my home. But I really like how these turned out. Thanks for stopping by.

  6. I love this idea!! I have the perfect little frame to put on a board like this, plus I LOVE your display in the last photos. I think I need to raid my in-law's garage for scraps from their remodeling. :)
