Here she is I am very happpy with how she turned out.
Handles are from Hobby Lobby, they were 50% off, all three were $4.50. Paint color is Valspar-Foxtrot. I distressed the whole thing, used gel stain-Walnut for the top.
As for the cute drawers- well they are't real drawers( wood nailed and glued to the other wood)..
I dont know how to do drawers yet. Who needs real pull out drawers anyway it get you the cute look with out them being real.
I am so excited it adds so much to my entry!
Have a great weekend hopfully it stops snowing...

My husband and I used your design to make a smaller version and I am so proud of the way it turned out! I def give you props for building this piece on your own, I would NOT have been able to complete this without my hubs and his mad woodshop skills. Check out my blog for a photo of how my piece turned out!

Oh my goodness! I love it! I absolutely LOVE that the drawers aren't real too because I was thinking... "hmmm...I could make that but there is no way I could do drawers." Then I read about the drawers and laughed out LOUD! BRILLIANT! Honestly, I love the look and don't need more drawers to stick stuff in so it's perfect!
ReplyDeleteIt really is beautiful and you have inspired me!
YOU GO GIRL! :0)

ReplyDeleteWow super impressed. How many people can say I just wanted to make a table and did!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I would have never known those weren't drawers! I would love to do something similar...I love the combination of the dark walnut stain and white distressed base. Beautiful just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI adore your table! Absolutely adore it! This is what I'd like to make for my entry as well, thanks for the inspiration. :)
ReplyDeleteLindsay, I am very inspired by the tables you made even though it was a while back. I followed your directions but I had to scale down my table because I have a small entry way area. I also made another one to put my keyboard on but not finished yet. Thanks for your ideas. I'd like to send you a picture of my table.
