Feeding the birds

I put this feeder right out my back window, the kids love to sit and watch all the different kinds of birds and how many come at the same time they almost tip the feeder over once we had 6 trying to get on the same feeder..

This is one of my favorite, this guys was bigger than the feeder its self but he was bound and determined to eat that seed.. I love how bright blue J's are.. (I think this is a Blue Jay)
Oh and the little yellow headed ones are too cute..

We are really ready for spring around here Ive filled up these feeders once a week for three weeks. They are hungry little birds..

  1. Ahhh what lovely photos, I love sitting in our armchair watching the birds peck from the feeders.

Doubt we will have many this year, one set of neighbours cut down a tree which several sets of birds had nested in and our other neighbours just got 2 cats, will save a few pennies, but would rather have the little birds pay a visit.

    Hope Spring arrives soon

    1. Amanda,
You'll just have to put up more feeders. Birds are so smart they know where the food is.. Thanks for coming by to isit and for the comments, I love getting to know people :)

  2. We love feeding the birds up at our house too. My kids love to watch them out the window too. Don't we live in a beautiful place? Love it! I think the blue bird is called a Scrub Jay, or at least that's what my husband {the bird man} always tells me when they fly in for a snack. :)
